Note: [From the developer] App Store Expenses was discontinued because of recent changes in Apples .ipa file format. The applications does still work, but new apps will always show up as free. However, you can edit prices manually.
App Store Expense Monitor gathers all iPhone applications from your iTunes folder on your computer, reads out the price information and presents the total amount of money you spent on the Apple App Store.

i am not in a rush to try this app.
i know EXACTLY how much i spent at app store( i don't need an app to guess the amount)--quite a lot actually because the app store EMAILS ME RECEIPTS!
i am also a little nervous about how this 'free' app is MONETIZED. i mean after the developers go through your itunes files and get this sort of information about you, WHERE ELSE DOES IT GO?
do they sell it to admob, google etc.?
i would love to hear the developers response to my question. thanks!

Great little app (and shocking result) whith one exception.
It seems to use the apps current price and not the price that I paid when I bought it though. I've bought or downloaded many apps when they where temporarily free or on sale which makes my totel quite inacurate, but I guess there's no way around that(?).

Any chance you could add a menu item to export the current list of apps and prices to a CSV text file?
I would love to be able to put this data into a spreadsheet or database to have a searchable list of what apps I currently own. I own way more than can fit on my iPhone so that list is super important to me.
Otherwise a great app!
