v4.5.12 is out. Release Notes: "• Text copy permissions do not work as expected in epub3 files in Windows and macOS.
• Copying of images by dragging and dropping in epub3 files.
• Bug fixes for security vulnerabilities." - - I posted the link to the download page at the end of this comment. You can download the "Getting Started" epub on that page as well, entitled "Welcome". This update apparently is from July and is still Intel x86 only. [Typical Adobe, dragging their feet.] But it runs fine on Apple ARM M-series Macs. This app is atrociaous. I cannot believe the developers haven't put even a little bit more effort into their software. Kinda sad to see an adobe product THIS terrible.

Horrible. Cant make notes, takes forever to scroll to a different page, everything is choppy. Very inconvenient and slow!
