StickiesSync overview
StickiesSync implements automatic, instantaneous, silent synchronization of your Stickies.app sticky notes across multiple Macs. Run the installation script once on each Mac, and never worry about it again.
StickiesSync uses a shared folder or server volume to sync your Stickies. For example, you can sync using your iCloud Drive, DropBox, Google Drive, Resilio Sync, your own private internet-accessible server, or any other kind of server that gives you full read and write access via file sharing in the Finder.
StickiesSync runs invisibly in the background (no Dock or menu bar icons wasting space), but can be paused and resumed with the click of a button.

I've run the script and lost all my Stickie Notes. Is there a way to recover them? @John ?
Any help would be appreciated, Unfortunately I don't have time machine but I'm running a disk drill maybe there is a way to see where the database is saved etc?

Found it syncs best after stickies is closed as that is when the database is saved. is this correct?

I've been using this sucessfully on 3 macs (1 Powerbook and 2 iMacs). Unfortunately 1 machine had to be wiped clean and I am reinstalling everything. I wanted to download StickiesSync but get an error message saying that the .dmg file is corrupted and should be moved to Trash. Anybody know what's going on?

Silently works as advertised, which solves the problem I needed solved. Some notes on setup and use would be helpful, though, to wit: 1. The tool doesn't do simultaneous updates--there doesn't appear to be any locking mechanism. If it's you, a work machine, and a home machine or two, that's great--exactly what you need at a great price (free!). Just don't try updating stickies from 2 different machines at the same time. 2. Installation is counter-intuitive in that the machine you're currently installing on updates stickies on all the previously-installed machines, rather than their content updating your local content. That means you'd better have a full backup of your "remote" stickies before you set this up for your "local" stickies, or *boom*, they're gone. For "features", I'd like to see some control over how and what gets transferred, but for now, this is just what I needed, neither more nor less.
