What’s new in version 6.8.1
- New: Added Drag&Drop support for dragging URLs from Safari. This will create a Webbrowser Source.
- Fix: When switching layers on and off with Layer Set Recall, the layers didn’t switch on or off accurately on the same frame.
- Fix: File Recording Output Destination wouldn’t allow setting the data rate or the key frame interval if the video encoder was set to HEVC.

OK... I will reconnect my 2012 Mac Mini and re-install BoinxTV and will use it just for that. With HDMI I will connect it to my new M1 Mac Mini and it will work as a switcher. Yes I beat the system. no $70 monthly from my pocket. long live old Mac Minis

Evidently this new version doesn't work with OS 10.9.3 on my Mini Mac. I've sent in two crash reports so now we sit back and wait.

A note about the OS requirements: although Lion 10.7 is recommended, actually Boinx TV requires Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to work.

I LOVE this program. BonixTV made the video production world into a very easy-to-use interface that gives users a huge amount of flexibility and creative license. On a personal note, I wish it wasn't so CPU intensive- though- I suppose I could always save up for another computer! In terms of video gear, $200 (or even $500) is almost nothing for the effects this program lets you use- you would be hard pressed to find another live-streaming software that does the same for a similar cost (and even harder pressed to find a hardware solution that does things for even under $1000).
