Although a very cool game, I would call the computer players "highly intelligent" (as described by the author). In fact, the computer players are downright retarded with basic concepts of the rules but no strategic abilities.
For example, the computer will in no way attack the player in the lead and will only behave according to what is good for the computer player and never for what is globally good.
The game is frustrating because of this. As sometimes one computer or a human player is on the brink of winning while the other computer players can't grasp that a player's win is imminent and will 'switch' or 'oops' players that aren't even close to winning instead of the one that is very close to winning.
