ok, I have MAME OS X ver. 0.114
I've set all the directories correctly.
But when I run Mame library, the "updating game database" thingy just pops up and doesn't go away.
It's been there for almost an hr. Well, I do have ALOT of roms. But my machine isn't very out-dated either.
iMac C2D, 3GB RAM.
I'm looking forward to using this app but I am wondering if it is going to function. On launch it could not find my MacMame app and wanted to know if I would like to locate it. I did in the Application folder where all my apps are located. It then began collecting data from my MacMame application. It has been doing so for the past hour and there appears to be no end in sight. I don't know whether to force quit or continue on as I can't stay up all night waiting for it to finish. I am wondering if the collection of data is working but I would tink that if it isn't I would get an error message...none appears yet it is running on and on with no end in sight.
