aTypeTrainer4Mac overview
aTypeTrainer4Mac is a multilingual typing tutor for macOS. All the system keyboard layouts (but not input methods!) as well as a wide variety of non-system keyboard layouts (i.e. Dvorak, Colemak or custom layouts) are completely or partially supported.
Training within the program is based on matching a mixed string of random characters presented by the app. There are 30 levels of difficulty. You can customize the character set at each of the 30 levels, and thus customize your own learning process. If you'd prefer to use source material of your own choosing for your training sessions, you can either import text files or paste text into the app. Use command-v anywhere within the app to paste text into the training display.
At the end of each session, the app provides a detailed evaluation of your typing, saved to your desktop by default. In the Menu and Preferences, you can adjust a host of settings to customize the app to your liking.
To launch the app: In Finder, Control-click or right click the icon of the app. Select Open from the top of contextual menu that appears. Click Open in the dialog box. If prompted, enter an administrator name and password.

Kleines Update zu meinem Erfahrungsbericht unter "ollisandra" im Juli 21. Die App ist immer noch ein großartiges Produkt und ich kann sie mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

A great little app that makes me able to train to use all my fingers while typing on my MBP keyboard.
According to the developer of the app, it's possible to connect your iPad as a sidecar to some Mac, and then you can run the app on the iPad. I haven't tried though, due to being still using an old MBP and Catalina macOS.
As I said at the beginning of the review, it's a great little software. Well recommended!

In aller Kürze: die App ist genial. 2016 war ich auf der Suche nach einem Programm um endlich mein Zwei-Finger-Suchsystem ohne großen Aufwand zu überwinden.
Ich habe mich damals in der Linux-, Windows- und Mac-Welt umgeschaut und vieles ausprobiert. Schlußendlich war dieses Programm die beste Wahl.
Innerhalb kürzester Zeit habe ich gelernt mit allen Fingern zu tippen. Heute nutze ich die App gelegentlich immer noch, um gezielt meine Schreibgeschwindigkeit immer weiter zu erhöhen. Es macht einfach Spaß damit zu arbeiten. Das Programm funktioniert unter Catalina / BigSur im Hellmodus einwandfrei, nur im Dunkelmodus treten teilweise Farbfehler auf. Ich habe den Entwickler darüber informiert und er hat sich sofort an die Arbeit gemacht das Problem zu beseitigen. Demnächst kommt eine fehlerbereinigte Version. Von mir ein großes Lob an den Programmierer für das Engagement und den netten Kontakt.

helpfull even for the experienced user that is not used to type with all fingers
