How does this compare to WebSTAR? WebSTAR is a combo http, ftp and mail server which has served me well over the years, but I'm beginning to think that the PHP implementation in WebSTAR is a bit flaky, so I've been considering switching to something else. But Litespeed is only a web server, and does not include a mail server or ftp server, correct? Thanks!

I can't find anything superior to the free web servers, such as Apache, nginx or lighttpd.

I've done some testing of this and so far it looks good - much more logical than Apache. I still prefer Abyss web server at this point, but I strongly recommend that you check this out. Apache really needs some strong competition as it can be a bloated pain in the butt. LiteSpeed and Abyss can do better than Apache for most needs.
