TranslateIt! Deluxe is an accelerated offline dictionary for effortless universal text translation. TranslateIt! Deluxe is easily extendible and comes pre-loaded with Russian, English, French, Spanish, and German dictionaries. No Internet access needed unless you're using full text translation tool. Works with StarDict, Babylon, XDXF, Apple dictionaries and other free dictionary resources.

I bought this in 2012. Have V14.1. When trying to register, app says data invalid. Macupdate download link not working. Download link on http://mac.gettranslateit.com/download.shtml leads to ISP generated spam window. Email to support is bounced back.

There's something weird about the dev: even searching for TranslateIt! Deluxe with Google you get a 404 page in Russian...

I think this app is free because I see "Free" from App Store. After installed, this app is working well with many dictionaries from Babylon.

Five stars because despite its improvable interface, this product is much more than the huge sum of dictionaries you can download into it.
Very unexpectedly and amazingly for a professional translator like me, TranslateIt allows you to add dictionary search sites interrogation into its base by copying query urls + a variable -- and that is not even mentioned above ! This system can and should still be improved, but this is, by far, the best solution for vocabulary search i found after Camino + the "Multi-Site Search" applescript by L. Thompson. (Alas, Camino is slowly dying away, and L. Thompson's scripts have disappeared from the web with the Mac homepages debacle, so even though i have both, i direly needed to have a replacement ready.)
BTW Have been testing the product less than a week and not even bought it already, but after I had problems making the "Office Support" applescript installer for MSWord work, the developers were very helpful and compiled a special "French" version of the installer. That looks like good customer service to me.
