I love he app. It's been working great for me and in any case, tremendously better than the official client ever did (so I sure don't miss it).
I dropped one star though for one simple (but really annoying) reason: the zoo can't remember windows size and position. I like to have multiple windows open to follow different lists and I have to re-organize the windows every single time I relaunch the app.

Now that Twitter Inc. have abandoned their own Twitter application, I've chosen Twitterrific. It's not an outstanding app, but it's perfectly fine for what it needs to do. The GUI is a bit old-school, and I would also prefer my own font selection plus theming support. Moreover there is some sort of internal programming bug regarding the three-dot-menus ("uncaught exception was raised"), which I noticed in macOS debug mode: it doesn't crash the software, but it's close; strange that this passed through App Store review. The navigation is fine, but not 100% intuitive. But at least the app lets you connect directly to Twitter. Tweetbot on the other hand doesn't work without push via the developer's website, which is preposterous. So even though it's far from perfect, I can recommend Twitteriffic.

Still looks like it's stuck in 2009. Offers nothing you don't get with every other twitter client, except for multi-colored tweets (yawn). It works, and that's the best I can say about it. It's not that it's bad—it just isn't special. And it certainly isn't worth $20 compared to Tweetbot (or even Twitter's own app).
