Brilliant little design assistant. Been using v3 and now v4 for several years. Incredibly easy to make your own materials or edit existing ones.

Sadly, this program is very buggy! It worked for a couple days, then started freezing up, and now it won't open at all. Too bad. While it was working, I enjoyed it.

Art Text 4 has – without indicating it in the list of features – removed the ability to export artwork in vector format. You can now only export as raster. Confirmed it by talking to their tech support via email.
I have Illustrator and have used it since the mid 90s. Art Text is useful for simple geometrically-perfect transforms of text and I've used it that way for years. But now, it might as well be Microsoft Paint for all the use it is for my workflow.
Art Text 3 still allows for vector export, so I'll continue to use it.
I've asked BeLight for a refund. I hope they honour it, because it's not very respectful of the user base to remove a critical feature during a paid-for update/upgrade and not inform the buyer beforehand.

Art Text 4 isn't much different than Art Text 3, except the developers now think thy can fleece more money out of you by having you have to buy more crap from an app that has seen better days.
