I found this software (TurboCAD Deluxe v7) buggy under Mountain Lion OS. Undo would invariably insert duplicates of my walls, which I would have to delete time after time. AutoCAD files are hit and miss on import, sometimes scattered all over the drawing after importing. Doors and windows do not propagate when using the 2D to 3D tools, even in the tutorial model. Several of the features do not work as instructed in the manual.
Exported 3D drawings import fairly well into Lightwave for rendering, but TurboCAD's library textures do not export with the drawing, and cannot be accessed outside of TurboCAD.
That being said, I paid $130 when v.7 first came out, and I might have been happier if I had paid $50 less. Furthermore, I have found enough workarounds, though it pains me to keep deleting extra walls, that I might have even upgraded to TurboCAD Pro if they didn't want to charge $200 for the privilege. (Even today with the big sale.) I do hate it when companies ignore early adapters. All in all, I would warn not to take this software too seriously. It is cheap by comparison to really good software, but it is more for hobbyist than serious draftspersons.
