FitPlot overview

The goal of FitPlot is simple:

  • Place various PDFs (or other common graphic formats files such as JPG, TIF, GIF, EPS, PSD, image in the pasteboard) on a virtual plotter sheet
  • Arrange all objects in a WYSIWYG environment moving and rotating them
  • Print the so arranged plotter sheet and eventually save it for later printings

I know this can be done with blazoned vectorial applications, but here we have a small program that can just do it - nothing less, nothing more.

What’s new in version 8.2.0

  • Improvement in wrap canvas feature: added stretching value for the border images, option also for group and trim signs
  • Added trim sign controls for cut & stack imposition and custom duplications
  • Improved trim sign control and copies management for business cards imposition
  • Added option to use a multipage pdf without indicating a back page in business card imposition
  • Option to snap guides (while moving them around) to the page notable points (center, margins)
  • Added a column indicating the page number (for multipage PDFs) in the items list panel
  • Bug fixing and interface improvements

On the app store the demo is called Fitplot free. This is just crap, because it prints a banner on the page. The free edition could be restricted but should be still usable.
