InPreflight Pro is a powerful all-in-one solution to check InDesign documents and prepare them for final output and shipping.

- Package multiple InDesign documents. InPreflight is the only program that can package multiple documents. It can collect all files into one folder, eliminating the need to collect the same links multiple times for each design. The savings can result in gigabytes of space and hours of production time.
- Quality control. InPreflight quickly gathers extensive information about document fonts, colors, and links, and lets you instantly locate potential problems according to user-defined settings. InPreflight reports several important link attributes not available in InDesign, such as EPS/TIFF compression, embedded fonts in Illustrator, and more.

If you are looking for a more robust way to preflight your documents than what InDesign CSx offers then this plugin fits the bill.
We needed something that would quickly show us the Effective resolution of images used in InDesign documents. We often work with FPOs from photographers, so we need a very fast way to make sure that we have replaced those FPOs with the High Resolution versions in our final documents
InPreflight allows us to specify whatever Effective Resolution we are looking for. We can set it to flag images with less than 300ppi resolution for offset printing, or less than 360ppi resolution for printing on our Epson 7600. We can also flag spot colors, RGB images, embedded fonts and many more options. Each set of variables can be save as a preset.
For the cost, we find this plugin very feature rich and an extremely valuable addition to InDesign CSx.
