Version 3.42 of GPSy is out and is now freeware. But when I run it, GPSy still asks for a license key. Looks like a big bug!!

Works okay with a Silvia Multinavigator, with the serial adapter cable (which I had to buy separately) and an Aten UC-232A Serial to USB adapter. I was able to get a realtime fix. I was not able to use other functions like uploading or downloading waypoints. But it's a nice start. I'll keep playing with it, I don't know if I really have enough need to pay for it. Although I think it's a reasonable price.

Did anyone test it with a Garmin USB device? Still no USB support in this version?

This type of application was wonderfull way back in the day when gps to computer interface was new. This app is a sad reflection on the poor status of gps-gis interfaces on the macintosh platform.
