I have just downloaded this from their website, does what it says on the tin, reg needed for password protection which was £12. Very pleased.

However the developers site has the correct version available.

hide folder is "free" to download, BUT when you go to use it, uou have to pay $24.95, hoping you'll be sucked into using it. For that reason, I'll pass on this application.
IT said Free license, Free download in macupdate list.

Great program, but I ran into a problem. For reasons having nothing whatsoever to do with "Hide Folders" I had to wipe my internal drive and do a clean install of OSX. To my horror, upon re-installing "Hide Folders", the folder I had made invisible on my external hard drive can't be found. Even when I do a spotlight search I can't locate the invisible files (which I could even when the folder they were in was invisible before). Is there anyway to reverse this? I believe they are still on the drive, as the space available hasn't changed. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
