TinyAlarm overview

TinyAlarm is a an alarm clock for your menu bar. Create customizable alarms in the menubar that will play a chosen sound (system sound, spoken by siri or recorded by you). Simple, no manual needed. Good for gaming, programming, not missing an appointment or timing the cooking of dinner so it doesn’t burn. Create alarms to use and then, with a click in the menu you can reactivate them anytime they are needed.

This is a really handy little utility. I have been using it for years, and just upgraded. I have also found the developers really responsive. All in all, I am happy to do business with them.

A very helpful and sophisticated app for the price. The first copy I downloaded would not remember I selected "open at login" but a re-download fixed that quickly. The options are pretty amazing. There are quick alarms for selected time periods or repeating alarms daily, or on specific dates and times and a wide range of choices for alert sounds including recording your own voice.

I loved the previous version of this software - as one reviewer wrote, it was one click, in the menu bar, and that's it. Now, it's fill out a form with several entries. It's easier to take out an egg timer now.

Does not work in El Capitan 10.11.1. Just paid $7. I hope they refund my money. Thanks ... Ken

Seems like a 10.7 requiring app to me. (The website oddly actually says 10.5+). It appears to call for something that just doesn't exist on 10.6 and thus won't work. Disappointing, misleading inaccuracy. (If I'm wrong on this, let's hear it).
