Engauge Digitizer overview

Engauge Digitizer is an open-source digitizing app that converts an image file which shows a graph or map into numbers. The image file can come from a scanner, digital camera, or screenshot. The numbers can be read on the screen, and written or copied to a spreadsheet.

Thanks for posting the software, it was very kind of the developer but the software is not quite straightforward to use, I came from windows background and familiar with originlab pro digitizer, maybe I suggest the developer to take a look at that.

I've used this many times to digitize scanned graphs. It's easy to use and invaluable as a tool to convert this type of data into something useable.

The large installed size of this version is the result of packaging the Qt runtime and manual within the executable bundle. For an alternate installation (especially if you have installed the Qt runtime separately), try: http://naranja.umh.es/~atg/ The two installations are otherwise virtually identical, and this one is direct from the project at sourceforge.
