Big Faceless Report Generator overview
The Big Faceless Report Generator is a Java application for converting source documents written in XML to PDF. Built on top of the Big Faceless PDF & Graph Libraries, the Report Generator combines these features and wraps an XML parser around them. Using JSP, ASP, XSL, or similar, creating dynamic PDF documents directly from a database is now as easy as HTML. Download a fully functional demo stamped version from the site for free testing.
What’s new in version 1.2
Version 1.1.27:
- Added full support for generating PDF/UA documents. See our blog article for this release for details.
- Fixed the attribute selectors, eg div[foo]. Previously these were only working for attributes that set a CSS property
- Fixed the "inherit" value, which was not working properly.
- Implemented the ":empty" selector
- The
element can now have its font specified. The system stylesheet sets it to Helvetica, which was the fixed default prior to this release. - Built with PDF Library 2.24, Graph Library 1.1.6

There are freebie tools to do this if you look hard enough... java based xml/xsl transfoms to produce pdf, etc.
