Excellent audio playback. Ofcourse I could wish for a "track-roll", but the audio quality makes it up for anything that might be missing. I've tested with some of the MODs that are difficult to play back without sounding strange. This player is definitely a recommendation, if you like MODs.

"Get this player!" they said, "It can play UMX files!" they said. Well no, no it can't play UMX files like it says in the description. Very disappointed.

Faultless playback of MOD files every time, with a tidy and simple (hence the name) interface. All I wanted was a small and tidy player to use some files I had downloaded. The author has made some baffling choice when designing the interface, for example not being able to load a file via the file menu, and the standard red close window button being disabled, but overall it's pretty staight forward and does the job soundly. The price is good too :)

If it's so "Ximple," why does it require an installer? Not gonna do it.

Good application. Great sound quality. But... first thing what I did when I wanted to open a file, was checking in FILE menu for an open option. And there wasn't any:( Next thing: why there is no pause icon above big left round button? And third: I have a folder (for example ~/Music/) with mod files and in that folder there is a subfolder (~/Music/Music2/) with other mod files. I am selecting ~/Music/ for a playlist. Everything is OK until playlist comes to subfolder. I get a "Invalid song format!" warrning:( Ohh! I have now noticed that there is a "Choose a folder with only(...)" warrning. But I think You should make possible to use for playlist folders with subfolders. That is all. Once again: good job. Cheers!
