YES! Domain groups are enabled now! Compared to my original assessment in 2007, when I had concluded that MOMD did not match requirements, it has made huge progress, as evidenced by my more recent comments (March 26, 2015). Especially at a time there are few domain management tools for Mac left on the market, it is really nice to see such an app that is actively maintained and improved.

So glad to have found that app! I had bought Domain Tracker in 2004: it was discontinued. Then I bought Domainer: it did the job properly for several years, but was discontinued last year as well. Finally, I have now found Master of My Domain. After those previous experiences, I approached it cautiously. But I was impressed: when I submitted a pre-order inquiry mentioning a bug, not only did I receive a personal and precise answer within a few hours, but also an updated version fixing the bug! What is still missing at this point are domain groups within the app: but the developer has kindly informed me that this feature would soon come with the next version, i.e. 2.1. Moreover, the app is more powerful and offer more features than its discontinued competitors used to. Not only does it allow to list domain names, but also a variety of information related to each domain name: FTP information, email addresses with user and password, logins, subdomains, databases with all details... I first regretted having to give up the previous app, but discovering Master of My Domain now makes me think that it is actually a blessing of disguise to need to change. The only thing that I am not yet able to assess is the stability of the app with several hundreds or thousands domain names: not enough time spent using it, and I wait until domain groups are available in order to import most of my domain names. Finally, the best for the end of this short review: the developer has assured me that the app "will continue to be updated and supported". With the vanishing competition, definitely the best option left for Mac users who need to manage domain names. ( I had also a pleasant surprise when buying the app: currrently, the store of Apple Source Software offers it at a discounted price of $20.)

I've been hoping a revamp would be completed on this product. It was easy to use, but had a few issues a year or so ago. I just purchased version 1.7 today though after looking at the documentation and seeing the bug fixes etc and let me tell you the flaws from earlier versions are fixed and the new features are awesome! I've been following this small company for several years with TimeNet (which is use religiously for my graphic design & website contracts). They seem to be super busy, but when a large customer base gives them good feedback and lets them know about bugs they fix them quickly. I honestly think they put some time into this update and fixed the issues people were having before. I'm stoked! I give it 5 stars in version 1.7. When is the iPhone app coming out? OMG yes! I'm sick of storing this private data in the notes app :( Nice work AppleSource.

Requires work, as does their customer support... I would have posted most of this on their support forums, but I am still waiting for the confirmation email to join :( * If you have not entered any domains, and you click the 'scan domains' button the program falls over with the error message: An exception of class OutOfBoundsException was not handled. This application must shutdown. * Dates are display in the USA date format, whatever the setting on your computer are. * The program works out information about the whois for a domain by doing a http request to various sites, then screen scraping. Which doesn't always work. Wouldn't it be better to use the 'whois' terminal command locally? * Expire dates for domains are sometimes a seeming random date.

Still completely broken, but the developer continues to advertise it for sale. This app has never worked.
