FontDoc overview
FontDoc is a dead-simple program which shows you all of the fonts on your system-or even uninstalled fonts-using any text and any size you choose. Finally, no more squinting at microscopic WYSIWYG font menus or having to click on a font to see what it looks like. FontDoc simply spits out a Rich Text document containing samples of all your fonts. Save it or print it for future reference. Fifteen years later, and Font Book still doesn’t do any of this. Works great on new M1 Macs – very stable, not a single crash, even when generating an 800 pages font catalog.

Agree with the previous comments. Works well in Yosemite Beta; quite an accomplishment for a program last updated in 2008
