Active Timer overview
Active Timer keeps track of the amount of time you spend in each application. This is perfect for automating the process of keeping track of time spent on a project. You can easily sum up the times of mulitple apps, and it saves your time on quit. It also allows for saving a current time to a file, and opening it again later.

From FREE to $30 in 3 years?
I have used Active Timer when I was requested to track my work time. Active Timer worked great. I would consider purchasing it... IF I knew the next update was less than 3 years away.
I could not find any reference or mention of the developers 3 year hiatus on their website.
I can not give a rating to the new version since I can't try it and there are no reviews of the new version.
On further review, I must give some rating... and it must be the lowest for my reasons above. It may be the greatest app ever!

Excellent app for tracking the time spent in each document. It is a shame to see that it seems no longer supported. Also, I wonder why I have version 1.4, when the latest official version is 1.3.3.

Excellent app - basic but highly useful. (Running it on 10.6.6)

Active Timer now requires Tiger, 10.4
Would be really good to see options that would allow automatic saving of daily information, or inbuilt tools to analyse the data over time.

what a great litle app now with csv support i can export daily to excel.
the only thing I'd like to see is a menubar icon to help me remember to switch the timer on after a restart!
