I've used the Readerware suite of apps for some years now and I'd have to agree that their UI is really dated and could use a revamp. However, I have also NEVER had one moment of trouble with any of the apps running, over the years, on a number of different macs with varying versions of OS X as I've upgraded or changed my system. They've performed flawlessly. Truly a rock-solid suite of software in my experience.

compared to a vacuum... ... this still does not blow. The program is very promising, but ugly and crashes too much. It is a waste of time and space.

I've used Readerware, ReaderwareAW and ReaderwareVW for quite some time. Everything has always worked great. I particularly like Readerware's ability to search multiple sites, merging data obtained from each. Support is terrific. Each time there is a Java update, Readerware is right there to update their programs to work properly with that update.
