Tofu overview
Tofu was designed to help you read text on your Mac. It displays text in columns that you can freely and fluidly scroll through. This means lines are shorter, making them faster to read, and you’re less likely to get lost among a neverending stream of vertically moving lines of text. You can control the column width, font, colours and other typographic and layout properties.
Tofu can open plain text, rich text, PDF, HTML and Word documents.
What’s new in version 3.0.1
- Fixed a problem where on macOS Sonoma 14, pasting or dropping text or using the "View in Tofu" service wouldn’t work.
- Fixed a bug that could cause some files to keep adding columns and never stop loading.

You may run into trouble accessing the app and dev page. (On my end, lack of access may simply be a problem with the Malwarebyte Browser Guard extension in Chromium derivative browsers. Safari work fine).

I really love Tofu, it greats and it does the job *almost* perfectly. Almost, because as I load .pdf Tofu does not break parragraphs correctly. Only major chapter divisions are divided, not really the parragraphs within. Is there a fix to this issue? has someone else encountered the same problem?

My only complaint, and its a big one, is that in full-screen mode the menubar is still present and I find it annoyingly distracting when trying to immerse myself in what I'm reading. Until this gets resolved I'm going to stick with Stanza which, although shareware and not as polished, does full screen much better.
