YemuZip overview
YemuZip is a simple, no-frills, easy-to-use application for making ZIP files. Unlike the built-in compress function, YemuZip lets you choose between preserving Mac specific metadata and making clean PC-friendly ZIP files. YemuZip also includes convenience like the ability to zip straight into a new email.

Was free of charge until version 2.4.8 released 2013. The next update was the last update in January 2016 but since then available on App Store $4.99 - what for?
I like it and I use it time by time but what justifies $4.99 since there is no real development since 2013 ?

All I need is the ability to ZIP without the hidden .DS_store and __MACOSX showing up for the Windows users. This app is small, simple, and does exactly that.
I tried a couple other apps that have this feature, but they're either expensive, bloated, or don't do the job correctly. This one does.
