This is a pretty good concept and an enjoyable game.
It does have what i consider to be a couple of design flaws, that should have been overcome by adding an element or 2.
First of all, the more and more difficult pieces to place begin appearing relatively late in the game when places to put them are also more unlikely which tends to make for an eventual plateau in the reaching of higher scores.
The second and more notable annoyance in game structure is that once there are no more boxes for new pieces to appear, and none of the pieces in the boxes or "in hand" can fit on the board, there is often significant time left during which the player has no way to recover and nothing to do but wait several seconds anticipating his demise.
The game should either end when it's obvious there are no more possible moves, or perhaps provide a limited number of chances to somehow recover.
I downloaded MacBoXiKon after playing a full version on someone else's system. I see that Shoecake has gotten rather stingy with trial periods on their games these days, as well, and aren't the most accomodating folks to deal with.
