Moved to the excellent non-subscription, one-off fee payment, cross-platform ENPASS. Took a bit of fiddling importing from SplashID but worth the effort. SplashID no longer cut-the-mustard.

While it's sad that SplashID hasn't fixed the issue with 8.2.3 and re-released it in the several months since the problem was discovered, it's even worse that MacUpdate is still caching the recalled version. Anyone needing to get back to the stable 8.2.0 version can easily get it from main page of the SplashID site.

I updated today to Mac desktop version 8.2.3.970. It fails to launch on my Mac. Ho can I downgrade to the previous version.

This Mac desktop version 8.2.3.970, posted today, was withdrawn by Splash ID a month ago, My own experience today confirms that was a good idea. It immediately crashed or failed to work on my Mac.
The previous versions works fine.
