ORION MK. V  Somewhat slow, and not altogether streamlined or intuitive, but it works reliably and is very affordable.  (Version 1.5)

MACMOONY  Works very well.

Only thing which did not work, was the notification by email option (and sending the fax to an email address).

Hopefully this feature works in the next version...  (Version 1.4.1 build 2)

JDUNN  I've always had good luck with this app myself, and registered it a few months ago. To the person(s) who are having problems, is there any chance that Fax Center is conflicting with the built-in Panther fax options is System Preferences?

I have mine turned off.  (Version 1.4.1)

MICHAEL N L.  This App. has worked for me since OS 9 and I use Panther's Fax but I don't get a copy of the sent faxes like I do with FaxCenter. Also when I email for tech support I get a response in a day or so thats a whole lot more than I can say for most developers or major companies. I say give this app. a chance and see what your doing wrong and not blame the app. for all your problems.
