DONALD MACKENZIE This is one of the MUST HAVES for MACOSX - OSX does not offer a download scheduler & this software has done it really well for years now, and it keeps up, promptly with new system releases - in short - GET IT & DON'T BE WITHOUT IT

DAVID DIONNE I have been using since 2007 with SD 4. The support group has always been responsive and helpful. Recently while running on SD 5 I couldn't download You Tube and their site said I had to have "Starting with Speed Download 5.0.3" Every time I had it check for updates it said I was current. I emailed SD Support and they sent timely (less than 30 minutes for response), accurate instructions. EVerything is working just as advertised.

JOHNABLE Like a 5 Star hotel, this is a five star application, providing outstanding, transparent interface between thousands of available applications on the internet and smooth transition to use on your computer. DAVID JORGE After using for sometime iGetter i got SpeedDownloader from Macupdate discount and i can say that this is the best download manager in the market for mac. Is does everything one can think of. Even download youtube videos. Faster that iGetter. Very stable also. I don+t even remember of it crashing. And the support is 5 stars. Fast response. It's simply amazing. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

DROEDL I think Speed Download is great. I visit several networks and download a ton of files. Just the ability to organize my downloads in one central repository alone is worth the price. Also the downloads are faster - and this app fixed a problem I have always had with very slow file transfers to and from my iDisk. I can use my iDisk now. Highly recommend to everyone!

SIGIL One of my favorite apps! Most of things that make this app great have been cited. That said, It seems rare when something does several things and does them well. SD does many things and DOES THEM WELL!!! Now throw in GREAT Customer Service and... Well... just buy this app!
