DESCRIPTION
Papaya is a web server dedicated to sharing your files with others. Sharing files is now incredibly quick and easy! It's a matter of dragging files to Papaya's dock icon, or the library list. The web address for downloading the file is copied automatically, ready for pasting into an e-mail or instant message. Papaya acts as a web server, sharing files through the HTTP protocol. This means that anyone with a web browser can download your files — no special software is needed on the receiving end.

FLASH1296  This (version 1.0.3) update created a small (cosmetic) problem for me. On Safari the icons are not displayed.  (Version 1.0.3)

FLASH1296  This application is very easy to use. Simplicity is its sole strength though. It needs more features. The Web Page that it creates is completely bare-bones-- e.g. Items cannot be sorted. There is no search function for those downloading a file. There is no way to mod' the page, etc.

While it works as advertised, it is seriously over-priced. If sufficiently improved, perhaps with the addition of logging file transfers, adding two-way file transfers, etc. I will purchase it.

To me it is very much a "work-in-progress"  (Version 1.0.3)

PATOCHE  Thanks Papaya you did what I was searching for... and in a simple way.

I tested v.1 and was not able to configure the ports...this new version did it for me.

I love to be on a Mac only for such apps.

    Give it a try...
