DESCRIPTION
Glest is a 3D real time strategy game with beautiful graphics and sounds. Please see glest.org for details. It's a little like Warcraft III, real-time strategy (resources, attack, etc). It's free and can be played on a network.

Maybe if more Mac people use it, they will contribute some cool modifications to the graphics and sounds to help it evolve. The source code is available at the developer's site.

    ZX81  I have tried to download the app, but all I get is

    "You don't have permission to access /archives/Glest31App.dmg on this server."  (Version 3.1)

    SWORDMAN  This game is a little in the vein of Age of Empires, or Myth. You know what? NICE! I was actually pretty impressed with the quality for a freeware game! I'd even go as far to say that it's of higher quality than alot of $harware games. Really!

    Just to help others out: be sure to download both parts to play the game--the application itself, and the data. They are separate downloads (as I write this).

    MISCHIVO  I attempted to install this game onto my harddrive, and it installed successfully. So where is it? I can't seem to find the game anywhere. A Spotlight search simply finds the installation package and the disk image.   (Version 3.0)
