Dapplegrey is a frontend for the Mac OS X DOSBox port written in REALbasic. With Dapplegrey you can easily set options the DOSBox gives to you without having to enter them manually using the Terminal or have to edit the DOSBox config file. This file will be written before Dapplegrey tells DOSbox to start.
Version 2.0.5: This version no longer writes its files into the folder "Preferences/Dapplegrey", which causes Problems at least in Leopard, but writes its files directly into the Preferences folder like version 1.x line has done.
This method has been reported to work by users, so the frontend remembers your game settings correctly now.
TRM96 I really love this app, and have been using it for a while. The one thing I have to say I would like to see you package it in a dmg rather than a zip as its easyer to deal with on my windows boxx (witch is where I sometimes download the newest verison from), Other than that love the app, wish you made a Windows/Linux version of the app! :) (Version 2.0)
ARVIDTP the previous version worked fine, but in this version when i try to launch a game I get an error:
"Dapplegrey have to quit because of an NilObjectExceptionErr (Object not found). Please tell the following line to the author: Subprogram: 'app.WriteConfChr'" (Version 2.0)
GUILLAUMEK Nice Dosbox GUI. The interface is a bit messy but it really gets the job done. Dapplegrey also has the simple merit of being in active development. Most of the other GUIs don't see a lot of updates these days. (Version 1.9.2b3)
