KRISTINE_NX MacPinball is a Joke! I can't believe they would charge for garbage like this! Even it was free I wouldn't use it! I agree with Ironman, 'Little Wing' is tops when it comes to pinball on the mac. I own all their titles including a few that don't play on the latest OS X or hardware so I keep an old Mac around just for those games. I only wish they would find a way to bring "Eight Ball Deluxe" back! (Yes, I know 'Amtex' sold it but it was 'Little Wing' who developed it.) (Version 5.2)
DARTH BROOKS This is the first time I've played MacPinball and, although it's not as horrid as previous reviews suggest, I would never pay ten bucks for it. After "Game Over", at least one can keep playing by clicking "Game". (Version 6.0.2)
IRONMAN http://www.littlewingpinball.com/contents/en/index.html
That is the only one address for mac pinball (on OSX)
I know several PC guys who would like a Mac just to play Monster Fair and such .. (Version 2.6)
PERSON1229 The game quickly gets very old. After less than several shots, you are able to determine the timing based on the rotation of the spinner exactly when to let the ball go and know exactly where it will stop. Every time. There is no variation in the game.
I commend it's followabillity though. I have a tough time following the ball around the Little Wing boards, I can't tell exactly why though (which is driving me insane).
This mini-game is certainly not worth $9.95, but I would consider purchasing if the board was a wee bit more complicated. Guarenteed sale if the board becomes more constructed, and this appears either on Promo or ZOT. (Version 1.5)
SOAP ON A ROPE I haven't tried this, but I can tell right away by looking at the screenshot that this is going to have a hard time being better than any of the Little Wing Japanese pinball games, which are masterpieces. Try the latest one, Fairy Tower, or maybe Jinni Zeala. Classics, great addictive stuff. (Version 1.0)
CYBORG9 Firstly, each game in the demo quits before you really get a chance to play it. That's sort of a trademark of all the games from this developer.
Secondly, there's really not much to this rendition of pinball. It really has little going for it.
I certainly wouldn't pay $10 for it. Even if were free, I'd yawn and move on. Nuff said. (Version 1.0)
