StopTheMadness Pro overview
StopTheMadness Pro is a web browser extension that stops websites from making your browser harder to use, and it protects your privacy on the web. With a huge number of unique features, StopTheMadness Pro is one of a kind! Made by indie developer Jeff Johnson. The support link has documentation and my email address. StopTheMadness Pro includes extensions for Safari on macOS and iOS, as well as Chrome and Firefox on macOS.

- Fixed an incompatibility with icloud.com and Amazon Web Services RDS metrics.
- Font replacements: If you select some text on the current web page, then creating a new font replacement will autofill the original font name from the web page.
- New Keyboard website option: Copy Link on hover shows popover. By popular request, disabling this new option disables the popover displayed by the keyboard shortcuts Copy Link Title and Copy Link URL.
- Hide Page Element: Fixed the state of the popup button, which could get out of sync with the web page.
- Hide Page Element: Fixed a bug introduced in the previous version of StopTheMadness Pro that could allow the page style to affect the dialog style.
- Hide Page Element: Exempt common element types such as div and p from the list if there's only one on the web page.
- Stop autoplaying audio and video: Stop HTML audio elements played offscreen and not added to the web page.
- Stop autoplaying audio and video: Stop the Continue Reading button from triggering video play on G/O Media sites such as Gizmodo.
- Show native video controls: Fixed on some Reddit pages.
