SyncMate overview
SyncMate allows syncing your Mac data with Android, iOS, and other Mac, MTP, or mounted devices, as well as with Google, Dropbox, and iCloud accounts.
SyncMate is offered in Free and Expert editions.
- Free SyncMate lets you sync Contact and Calendar entries between Mac and supported devices. Sync with Google and Dropbox accounts is also available. SyncMate allows reading messages from Android and iOS right on Mac.
- Expert Edition will sync iTunes, iPhoto and Photos.app, Safari Bookmarks, Reminders and separate folders (sync options depend on the device you are syncing). It offers AutoSync option which lets you set various parameters of automatic sync for any of supported device.
- With Expert Edition you can create, send, delete, search and export text messages from Android and iOS on your Mac. It also allows the conversion of videos to AVI, MPG, MP4, WMV, ASF, 3GP and audio files to MP3 and WAV prior to syncing them to device (Pictures, Videos and Music plugin).
Sync can be performed via USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet (depends on synced device). SyncMate is compatible with OS X 10.10 and higher. Device compatibility: iOS 5.x-8.x devices; Android 3.x, 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x.

Although it did not do what I needed and no refund was possible, the licence was transferred to another app, Cloudmounter. Cloudmounter is a fantastic app that make the process of accessing cloud based storage completely seamless. Highly recommended.

I use Syncmate to Synchronise large photobiblios ( 100.000 pics and more ) on different Drives. Works great. Also super Support.

Waste of money, I had it installed for 2 months and everything seemed fine until my server gave me a warning it was out of storage. turns out sync mate had made copious copies of my files to the point 25tb was taken up by about 200gb of data. I checked the logs and it was a trash issue, ok cool fixed that still replicated everything. reached out to their support and they said NO REFUNDS, It also boasts that it can back up your phones contacts calendars etc, well apple put a stop to that and sync mate hasn't been altered to reflect these changes. RUN AWAY FROM THIS APP! Do not spend any money on it, treat it like a scam.

For me it used to work great on 10.11 but no way on 10.14: SBB until it fills the whole available disk space... :-o From what I gathered, it might be because it uses an old service called launchproxyls which is based on inetd (don't ask me exactly what that is... :-D ) that has apparently been dropped from MacOS.

I purchased a family pack of their software syncmate to keep directories between different Mac computers in sync. The software hardly ever works for me. I have an iMac and MacBook Pro. It takes several hours to sync, and the sync almost always fails in the end if either computer goes into sleep mode. So unattended syncing just won't work. Customer service says I need to use a third party app to keep machines awake, but as yet I cannot find an app that is compatible with syncmate, nor could customer service suggest one. Just dreadful. Even that I cannot use their app as expected I requested a refund, but they flatly refused. So I wasted £100. Others should be aware.
