Netshade 8.3.1 flies on a 2017 5K iMac27.
Am running Catalina Beta 10.15.5 and often use the US West Servers.
Just ran Speedtest : 310.3 Mbps download

I HAVE BEEN USING FOR YEARS BUT THIS PAST YEAR. I COULD NEVER SEEM TO BE BLOCKED FOR MORE THAN 2 MINUTES AND I AM SKEPTICAL ABOUT RENEWING BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET TO USE THE SERVICE AS MUCH. BECAUSE NETSHADE KEPT KICKING ME OUT SOMEHOW.

- Globe now has clickable pins for proxy servers
- Added buttons to Preferences->VPN for viewing or clearing PKI
- Right-clicking or long-pressing on the globe now sets your location

This page is giving release notes for Netshade 7 even though Netshade 8 is out. Netshade 8 is a newer GUI and now supports different connection modes (VPN, SOCKS, HTTP). includes a speed test, and Netshade 8 apparently also lays down the foundation for their new product, HOP, which lets you easily configure your own computer as a VPN server.

Been using Netshade since NS3. Never had ANY problem with it. Smooth, easy, and very reactive developer, even for local problems! Won't change before next century :p
